Why only e-mailed pictures not printed pictures?
E-mail has no borders, you can send me your pictures from anywhere in the world at no cost and I can send them back just as easily.
There are no shipping charges, no missing couriers, no phone calls to arrange return visits, no bent photographs after traveling hundreds of miles by air/road and no delays in receiving your finished product.
They reach you in perfect condition and you do with them what you want. You can have them printed at your favourite shop, print them at home, put them on a digital picture frame or even use them as a screensaver you can't do that with a printed picture.
Will the file size and dimensions be the same?
The files size will be bigger (more detail in the finished picture) but the dimensions will be the same as increasing the dimensions affects quality.
I may be able to make the pictures bigger to fit a particular print size but some reduction in quality may occur.
Why are the samples watermarked?
Simply so you can see how your pictures have turned out and that they are acceptable before completing the order, if you have versions with no watermark you have no reason to complete the order.
Once you approve the sample results and complete the payment process the full size, enhanced, pictures without watermark will be e-mailed back to you to do with as you wish.
What if I don't like the sample pictures?
If you don't like the way the watermarked samples have turned out then you have no further commitment no cost to you has been incurred.
What if I don't like the finished pictures?
If the pictures have already been paid for and e-mailed back to you then there is little I can do, the sample pictures and the selection process should ensure that only pictures you like are returned to you.
The pictures seem dark?
As part of the enhancement procedure photographs are naturally darkened, adding contrast and depth adds more colour usually blacks/greys into the shadows of the picture. It is part of the process and is needed to produce the desired effect.
All monitors are set up differently. What looks dark on your monitor may look lighter on another.
I use a professionally calibrated monitor to work on the pictures and they look as they are intended to, I would not send them back to you if I thought they were not up to standard.
To check to see if your monitor is set properly visit photofriday, epaperpress or wikihow to see if yours can be tweaked.
Remember once you have the finished picture you can do with it whatever you want so if you want to lighten it, crop it, resize it, change the colours or write I love Kylie in big red digital pen on it then the choice is yours!
Copyright who has it?
They are your photographs I claim no copyright on your pictures even after I have enhanced them. You have paid for them do with them what you will. I hope you will allow me to maybe add a copy to the website, I would like to show off the good ones .
The other pictures on the site (the ones I took myself) I do hold copyright on and as such they may not be used without express permission..
